Books - cooking - and cooking the books?

Popular site number one del.icio.us seemed to follow my train of thought through from Julie/Julia which was about blogs and cook books (and more appropos for this endeavour - quite a good movie too that compares childfree women in 2 different eras) through to Lulu where I could have published my own cookbook (Julia Childs would have been horrified after 8 years to just pop it up there) - but then I found a $4,000 book on Merlin and his prophecies .... now that could be (I hesitate to say interesting!) hand selected collectible rare books. However, Julia is not in this category - the original Knopf publication is only worth a mere $18.00 (US).
